Empty The Shelters - Waived Adoption Fees

Detroit Animal Care and Control is participating in Empty The Shelters from December 1 through December 15. During this event, all adoption fees are fully sponsored by the BISSELL Pet Foundation, giving you more room in your budget for the essentials that help new pets thrive: toys, treats, and training.

The shelter is open every day from 10:30am to 5:30pm at 1431 East Ferry Ave. Our adoption counselors will be onsite to help you meet animals, learn their personalities, and find a companion who fits your home and lifestyle. All adopted pets go home vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with a starter goody bag to help you begin your life together on the right foot.
