Happy Hour Adoption Event and Donation Drive at Honest John’s

Come for the cocktails, stay for the cuddles — and maybe even leave with a new best friend. Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control is partnering with Honest John's for an afternoon of same-day adoptions, a donation drive, and raffles, all in support of Detroit's shelter dogs and cats.

Every sip supports the animals in our care, and every donation makes a difference. Bring an item from our donation drive wish list and you will be entered to win raffle prizes presented by Honest John's and friends, including sponsors Casamigos, Detroit Optimist Society, Casamara Club, Bacardi, and more.

Donation Drive Wish List

Blankets and quilts, bath towels, medium/large Kongs, cat and dog beds, dog/puppy food, cat/kitten food, cat toys, canned pumpkin, applesauce, dog crates, cat carriers, 6-foot leashes, Feliway cat spray, Fresh News litter, and kitten replacement milk (KMR).

Please note: for the safety of the animals, we cannot accept items with frayed edges, holes, fringe, table cloths, open weave or eyelet throws, or buttoned and adorned items.
