Adopt a Dog at the Troy PetSmart!

Join Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control for an offsite adoption event at PetSmart in Troy. We’ll be bringing a selection of adoptable dogs from Detroit Animal Care and Control who are ready to meet their new families.

Whether you’re actively looking to adopt or just thinking about adding a dog to your life, this is a great opportunity to spend time with some incredible dogs outside of the shelter environment and find the right match for your home.

What to Expect:

• Meet adoptable dogs from DACC (lineup subject to change)

• Talk with volunteers about each dog’s personality and needs

• Same-day adoptions may be available for approved adopters

All dogs are:

• Spayed or neutered

• Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines

• Microchipped

• Sent home with a collar, leash or harness, and a goody bag

Adoptions are first come, first served with an approved application. We recommend bringing all decision-makers from your household.
