Clawson Dog Adoption Event

  • The Church at Clawson 655 South Main Street Clawson, MI, 48017 United States (map)

Join us at The Church at Clawson on Saturday, April 6, 2024 for a dog adoption event co-hosted by BSA Troop 1615. We’ll be there doing onsite, same-day adoptions from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 655 S. Main Street in Clawson.

All you need to do is show up, meet the dogs, and if there is a good fit for you and one of the dogs, answer some key questions about how you’ll care for the dog and apply to take them home that day. This event is free and open to the public.

All adoptable dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are fully vaccinated. Adoptees receive flea, tick, and heartworm preventative along with a goodie bag full of toys, treats, food, and more. The first 9 people to adopt or foster a dog at our April 6 event in Clawson will receive one of these beautiful dog beds and a Benebone - for free! The scout that organized this adoption event did fundraising and collected cans to purchase these beds and bones as something extra special for the dogs and their new families.

Adopters must be 18 years or older, have a valid ID, and answer some key questions about your home and how you plan to care for the dog you’re interested in adopting. There is a requested $100 dog adoption fee that help support and care for other homeless pets.

Adopting a dog is a rewarding experience. You can save their life and add a lot of joy and happiness to yours. View all available, adoptable dogs on our Adopt page.
