Join Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control for The Bark Yard at Detroit Shipping Company—a fundraising and adoption event supporting pets in need.

This community event brings together animal lovers for an afternoon of connection, fun, and impact. A portion of bar sales will be donated to Friends of DACC to help support programs that keep pets with their families and provide care for animals at the shelter.

Event Highlights:

• Same-day dog adoptions with FoDACC

• Dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped

• Go home with a new collar, leash, and harness, plus a goody bag of toys, treats, and food

• Raffle baskets and 50/50 drawing

• Live music throughout the event

• Food court and bar available for purchase

Kick off the day with a special Doggy Yoga class from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM. This unique experience pairs a relaxing yoga session with adoptable dogs—plus, your ticket includes a complimentary mimosa (21+).
